DESIGN #2

My collection comprises of 3 Looks. My second Look is made up of a Jacket, a strapless crop top and pants. The jacket is unique, which has a huge standing collar, and sleeves attached to the side of the lower jacket. The jacket outer is made from upcycling denim jeans. Different shapes are cut from sample jeans, frayed edges, stripes created in different colours and then patched together to create the fabric. Once the jacket patterns are put together, the jacket collar is embellished with mirror and metal work. The strapless crop top is created by upcycling black jeans and special print samples. The crop top base is created with black stretch denim and then embellished with circle shapes cut from denim samples, creating texture into the garment. The pants are straight fitted made from light weight denim and has a frill attached from the knees. The frill is made of 4 pattern pieces that are square or rectangular in shape, giving it movement.
